"Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth declared war on the crime of Gotham"? I mean I get that you really want to make Alfred more than a butler apparently, and Alfred backstory does include time as a spy depending on which continuity your looking at, but he's always been portrayed more as a support than a partner. Just feels like a needless change and makes Batman look that much more useless that he needs to rely on his butler.
